Indigestion?

by imroses, Sep 01, 2002 12:00AM
Every so often, and always after I chew gum (which is NEVER now), I get a pepsin taste in my mouth.  It is unrelieved by any antacid I can find and goes on for several days (at least 3). eating does not relieve it, now does sleep as I wake up in the night tasting this taste.  There used to be a gum called PEPSIN and this is what I am tasting 24 hours a day.  It makes me sick!  Any body ever hear of this?  Anybody help?
