Need Imfo Please!

I am a 23 year old female who has been having nausea, and lower abdominal pain for 2 years now. I weigh 100 pounds, and cannot gain any weight. Every morning I wake up with severe nausea to the point I gag. I also have lower stomach pain on (both sides), and it spreads to my back. I develop alot of gas, with pressure, and bloating on a daily basis. Sometimes I have pain around my rectum area. I do not have hemmoroids, and it is not after a bowel movement either. I do have regular BM's, which sometimes are extremely painful. I have had an H Proli test and it was negative. I am not lactose intolarant, and I do not have IBS. Can someone PLEASE give me any advise, or give me an opinion of what they think it could be. I really do not know what step I should take next. I really am so tierd of being sick every day.

Hi,

I was researching some symptoms a while back and came across some information on "Chronic Fatigue  and Related Syndromes". It seems that this family of conditions encompasses some pretty bizarre symptoms. That and fungal infections. Not an MD. Just an FYI.

I agree with the above comment by Nanny. As a medical professional myself, it would be wise to seek out a gastroenterologist (GI doc) to properly diagnose this if you haven't already. And if you have, my suggestion to you would be maybe to seek out another GI specialist if you are unhappy with your current care. You are certainly too young to be having so many issues. Good luck and take care...

Are you seeing a specialist for this?  If you aren't, I would suggest it.  And if you are, you need to keep pushing this physician to keep looking for the cause.  It could be any number of things, but a doctor would be the one to find out what it is.  You have to continue to be persistant until you get some answers.
