Is this blood in stool?

Once or twice, I had a bowel movement with normal color, but in the water was what looked like a dark very thin inch long flesh like thing, not stool. What is this??? Had a sigmoidoscopy 3 months ago for hemmorhoids.

Has anyone had a bowel movement that was fully covered with dark blood?  I had that in April, for one day then I used the cortifoam that evening and the next two day, and it went away.  My CBC was also ok 3 months later when I had it done, but prior it was alittle low.  I have Crohns in my large intestines.

I had a very bad bacterial food poisoning a few years ago and I had the same type of thing in my stool.

Get checked for things like Campylobacter bacterial infections.  They will need a stool sample for this.

Weird, I'm not sure what the flesh thing is but are you sure it wasn't food that wasn't digested properly?
