a stone in a duct

by ttcoffin, Oct 03, 2002 12:00AM
I have posted on here alot lately and I have gotten so much good advice, so I thought I would bug you ladies again, lol. My husband has been having upper, middle stomach pain for years now(ever since getting his non functioning GB out) and have recently thought it was something with his sphincter of oddi. It always aches but usually after meals it spikes up, sometimes worse then others, depending on what he eats. About a week ago, he felt this really strange feeling in that spot, and some girgling and like something was "moving". It felt weird he said. Well, ever since then, the aching is still always there but the intense pain after emals has seemed to subside, atleast for now. My question is, could he have had a stone in one of the ducts and it got dislogged and moved on? Or is this not possible? If so, can he get more? Iam wondering if he should still have have the tests done on his sphincter of oddi? Again, any advice would be helpful. Thanks again ladies............Tanya
