I am so scared and don't know what to do

I have just been diagnosed with Gall stones.. I have had 3 attacks in two months.. Last weekend was the worse one... After going to the ER and having all the blood work, I was then told my white count was high and that I had a UTI, I was given Cipro which made me very sick, however since then I have had extremely bad diarehea, but not going every five minutes all the time. Just about 5 times after eating, I have noticed that the movements start out quiet firm and then go to just about water with some kind of gel stuff.. I have also noticed lately that the bowel movements are yellow in color.. Does this mean there is something significantly wrong with me. I have never had a serious medical problem in my life before and I am also on a fat free, strict diet until I can get home to the UK to get my illness fixed up.. Could someone please advise me on what to do.

I'm not knowledgable about gall stones, but if it was me, I'd read books in health food stores, to see what holistic, natural treatments have helped other people with gall stones. I would ask the doctor about whether he or she had any objections to the ideas in the books, and if not, I would try them.

Others will share their ideas & experiences, too, I'm sure. Hang in there, and have faith that you will have treatment choices!

Sincerely, Concerned lady

WHAT CAUSES FECES TO BE MOSTLY YELLOW?

One condition that can cause yellow poop is an infection known as giardia. Giardia are tiny organisms that are also parasites. Parasites are organisms that live in or on another organism to obtain nourishment. If giardia infects the intestines it can cause severe yellow diarrhea. This is a dangerous infection that can spread to others. In fact doctors that see it have to report it to the government's Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

Another cause of yellow poop is a condition known as Gilbert's syndrome. This condition is characterized by jaundice (a yellow discoloration of the skin) and hyperbilirubinemia. Hyperbilirubinemia is when too much of a substance known as bilirubin (a red pigment secreted by the liver) is present in the circulating blood. Since bilirubin is an orange-yellow color, too much bilrubin in the blood can lead to yellow-colored skin and yellow poop. See your doctor if you are concerned about the color of your poop.

I got this off of www.medfriendly.com and in the search I typed in yellow feces.
