Still have pain after choesystectomy

by stoneless, Nov 23, 2002 12:00AM
I had my gall bladder removed 18 years ago when I was 28. I still get the gut aches occassionally and have diarrhea all the time. Gives a whole new meaning to the word "Fast Food." Seems to come right out as soon as I eat! Any ideas from anyone what can be taken and why the gut aches are still there?

I had the same problem.  Go see your gastroenterologist to discuss.  They may want to perform additional tests like the ERCP to check out the ducts.
