Aspertame withdrawal

by TLynn, Nov 23, 2002 12:00AM
'after reading about the bad effects of aspertame I quit drinking diet coke,( after drinking at least 32 ounces a day for years.)  I am now experiencing  withdrawal symptoms such as nausia, flue like symptoms, dry mouth(I drink 64 oz of water daily),I am anxious and am getting depressed.  Has anyone else tried to quit aspertame and did you experience any withdrawal?  Any suggestions?  Thanks   TLynn

Why did you quit using aspartame? I didn't know it had bad effects. What are they?

If you have time  search the web for aspertame and read.  It will scare you.  Many people have found that their aches and pains are due to aspertame.   The aspertame brakes down under heat and turns to wood alcohol.  they have proven that it also attacks the brain.  So I decided to lay off the stuff.  After 10 days of feeling really awful I am ok now. The reports would be interesting for everyone to read.
