7 yr. old with esophageal/stomach spasms

Hi everyone,
I wrote before about my 7 yr. old son who has a recent history of vomiting, mostly at night, but sometimes in the morning too. This past week out of 7 days he's only had 2 nights that he didn't get sick. And I mean SICK, he throws up out of his sleep, violently, projectile vomiting.
Anyway, he had an upper GI series last Friday that showed he has "Persistant pyloric Duodenal spasm including the duodenal sweep" " And minimally functional abnormality in the esophagus with secondary peristalsis noted during transit of barium thru the esophagus"
My question is: Do any of you have problems with the duodenum or esophagus to this extent, that you vomit almost on a daily basis? I'm taking him to a specialist tomorrow, Friday and am nervous as to what he may want to do. What kind of tests do they do to check the insides of a body? Is a scope the next step? The last line of the Diagnosis from the Upper GI said that "Although the pancreatic abnormality is unlikely, further evaluation may be done with CT scan". What would they be looking for in a CT of the pancreas? He's only 7 yrs. old! Thanks for any help, I'm getting nervous now and would appreciate any words of advice, what to ask, etc. Thank you all, Becky
