Hello - I'm glad that you had a positive experience with the upper
endoscopyEndoscopy
Gallbladder endoscopy. The Versed not only has sedative properties, it has amnestic qualities and it is responsible for you not remembering the procedure.
Good luck,
Kevin, M.D.
My GI came in and reviewed all the pictures with us within a few minutes. I had a very small hiatal hernia at the end of my esophogas which the doctor felt would cause me any difficulty since I hadn't been having any problems with heartburn symptoms, and two small polyps in my colon were removed for pathology, but the doctor felt that those, also, weren't going to be a concern, and that I wouldn't need another colonoscopy for another ten years. All in all, the procedures were a breeze and I'm really happy I had them done. It's better knowing, than worrying about the unknown.
The endoscopy was ok but the sigmoid hurt really badly and had to be limited.
because with the sigmoidoscopy if polyps are found you have to have the colonoscopy to remove them for the sigmoid only goes
have way up the colon and is a painful procedure for some patients. Most insurance policies now cover for the total colonoscopy and next time midsummer...ask for this one.
