I have had abdominal cramps

What should I do.  I am begining to feel dehidrated.  Is there anything I can take or do to help this condition.

What could be causing it??  I have no idea if it is food poisoning or somthing else.

There can be many reasons one can feel dehydrated.  The first would be inadequate fluid intake.  Losing body fluid (i.e. vomiting, diarrhea) can also be a cause.

If this is the case, sending the stool off for culture and analysis, as well as obtaining blood tests to evaluate the kidney function, electrolytes, blood count and thyroid panel can all be considered.

If the diarrhea continues, you can consider a lower endoscopy to further evaluate the cause.

These options can be discussed with your personal physician.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
