CT SCAN REVEALS FULLNESS IN THE HEAD OF PANCREASE, SO TODAY I AM GOING FOR A MRI AND MRICT...IS THIS LIKELY TO BE CANCER OR WHAT ARE OTHER CAUSES FOR THIS INCIDENTAL FINDING..I'M SO FEARFUL.

A fullness in the pancreas may be due to cancer.  Other possibilities would include a cyst or pancreatic pseudocyst.

The MRI and MRCP are the appropriate next tests for evaluation.  If negative, an endoscopic ultrasound can also be considered.

These options can be discussed with your personal physician, or in conjunction with a gastroenterologist.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
