is treatment neccessary?
after learning that i have chronic active hep b, i have had no symptoms what so ever. i still have a lot of energy, very healthy and feel great. i havent been drinking and dont plan to. i heard that the inflammation of the liver may decrease if you do no more damage to the liver. it can regenerate and reach its normal level. is that true? also if i am feeling fine is treatment necessary if i am feeling fine?
In about 95 percent of Hep B infections the virus is cleared leaving around 5 percent that will not.
You will want to get a biopsy to see how much damage your liver has . Before you decide to treat or not.
