Question Title: D&CForum: The Maternal and Child Health Forum
| |
|
I had a hystersonogram that showed a small polyp in my uterus that my RE believe could have been a contributing factor to my two previous miscarriages. A hysteroscopy and D&C in early September was performed to remove the small polyp. I was told that it was not major therefore a ballon inserted into my uterus to keep the walls from heeling together was not necessary. I had a normal period ten days after the operation and another but VERY painful period two weeks ago. The pain started a week before the onset of my period and still continues today although not as painful as the last three weeks. It's also somewhat painful during sex. My question, could this pain be associated with the operation I had? How long does the uterus takes to heel after a D&C? Is it possible that the walls of my uters is heeling together? I was told everything was fine at my post-op. Thank you for your help Dear Tina: Keywords: D&C This information is provided for education purposes only and is not a medical consultation.
