15 1/2 weeks; What's the chances of us finding out the gender of our baby?

by Jessime119800, Jul 05, 2007 12:00AM
Hello ladies,

What are my chances of finding out tomorrow what the sex of our baby will be? My next appt isn't 'til 30 July and it's really for the 2nd trimester screening. I'm not sure if they would be able to give me that information or not??? I cannot wait to start buying baby clothes! I love my Dr appts; they keep me positive with this pregnancy. I still worry though... I'm just glad I made it past my first trimester.

Any advice ladies.

Thanks bunches!

Depending on the experience and skill of the tech doing the u/s you may be able to find out. I found out at 14 weeks that we're having a boy! :)

It depends on the experience of the tech, really and the equipment. I was 12w4d when I was told I'm having a boy and then again at 15 weeks. It's not too soon. Good luck!

It really just depends on your doctor.  I know some people who have found out at 17 weeks but my dr. is making me wait to have the u/s until I'm b/n 19-20 weeks.  But I am having twins and she wanted to make sure the babies are big enough to get a good full scan of everything.  I know you are anxious b/c I am extremely anxious to find out if they are boy/boy, girl/girl, or boy/girl.  Good luck!
