IVE BEEN READING ABOUT "HOW TO " GET PREGNANT USING THE BBBT METHOD, BUT IM CONFUSED, JUST FEELS LIKE EVERYONE HAS SOMETHING DIFFERENT TO SAY ABOUT IT..CAN YOU GUYS HELP??
IM TOLD THAT WHEN MY BODY TEMP. IS HIGH , IT MEANS IM OVULATING..BUT OTHER WEBSITE STATE THAT WHEN ITS HIGH ITS TOO LATE TO HAVE INTERCOURSE CAUSE UR OVULATION IS FINISHED??
PLEASE ENLIGHTEN ME..IM CONFUSED!!
IM 7 DAYS IN , SINCE MY FIRST DAY OF MY PERIOD, SO MY PERIOD IS ALMOST AT THE END HERE...WHAT DO I DO BESIDES TAKING ,MY TEMPERATURE EVERY MORNING?

im not the pro some are. there are many sites or books even to help you learn correctly. i know some women use fertility friend.com to chart their temps. i think but could be wrong that when looking at your chart, the O day takes place just before the temp spike. so yes if you see the temp rising its past. like i said i could be wrong. if you go to the fertility/infertility forum there are a few pros. good luck i hope it works!

I recommend BBT. I got pregnant the first month I tried it. If you go to fertilityfriend.com, it will explain everything and even let you chart online.

I found the bbt method works best with ovulation predictor kits. The OPK kits tell you when you are about to ovulate, while the bbt method tells you when you already ovulated. If you are only doing bbt, look for a slight dip in temps the day before or of ovulation. Once the temp has a significant rise it means you just ovulated. The rise in temps is due to progesterone released by the follicle which means the egg already left the follicle. If you use the OPKs, once you see a positive you can start bd'ing each day until you see the temperature rise by BBT. Good luck!

Definitely go to fertilityfriend.com. The even have an online course to teach you step by step everything about bbt and much more. Yes, once temps have spiked o has occured.
