Estrogen in HRT

I have started hrt. at first I was prescribed estrogen and progestin but now it has been changed to 2 months estrogen and 1 month combined hormone. is this a common use hrt eventhough i have a uterus?

There are many ways to give estrogen and progesterone.  The one thing that is usually common to them all is that progesterone is given at least every 3 months if you have a uterus.  Doing it the way you are doing it should reduce the number of bleeding experiences to once every 3 months instead of once every month which is preferable for many women.  It also is often enough to stop the uterine lining from developing unhealthy or abnormal cells as a result of taking estrogen for too long without progesterone.

So the way you are taking it is a little less common but follows the guidlines recommended and should be fine.
