An easy switch??

I am currently taking 40mg of Paxil and wish to switch to Wellbutrin.  Is this going to be an easy switch as in one day be taking Paxil and the next start Wellbutrin?  Or do I have to slowly be taken off Paxil first?  My doctor isn't sure and she said that she will eventually do some research on this.  I was wondering if maybe I could go back to her with a comment or an answer so that the changes could be made faster.  Thanks.

You should be started on

wellbutrin while on paxil so that whatever benefit you are getting from paxil

can ne maintained.  once you are on a therapuetic dose of wellbutrin for at

least ten days, the paxil can be tapered over one week.  unfortunately, paxil

is associated with a "ceasation syndrome" , so you may feel a bit fluish

during the tapering off. Sorry for the delay, this slipped by me.
