Brain Injury and Hyperbarics

I am the caregiver of a 41 year old woman who had a severe heart attack 2 years ago.  The MI caused her to have a severe brain injury and this has left her with degraded memory ( working and short term).  She also has difficulty controlling her emotional state.

I have heard some good things about hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT).  What is the possibility of HBOT helping my wife?

I am sorry I don't have any direct experience with that treatment. I suggest you ask this same question in the neurology or general medicine forum.
