I need something to take when we go on long trips. Which we haven't done as of yet. I've only gone 100 miles at the most. I get real anxious when I think about going to florida or somewhere that far away. I take a very low dose of xanax which helps me do what ever I want. They have tried me on celexa, which has helped, but I don't like the fact that you don;t feel emotions with it. I've also taken paxil, which upsets my stomach.I need something I know will help me travel, with no panic attacks or upset my stomach.

Xanax is a good medication to use even for this purpose.  As long as it works, there is another form of long lasting medication like xanax called klonopin.  It  has same effect but gives you a continuous protection during your trip, and can always be augmented by occasional doses of xanax.
