Feeling spacey with stimulants

by Seshman, Nov 26, 2002 12:00AM
I have been diagnosed with ADD and have been given numerous amount of stimulants (Concerta, Ritalin, Adderall, and Provigil).  They all seem to work for the first day Then I start to get into Zombie mode when I am on them for a few days.  I have also tried Wellbutrin and I did not like the way it made me feel.  Is there any stimulants out there that might not make me feel spacey?   I hate feeling so tired and out of it.

I believe that all of the stimulants will have the same initial effects. MOst people find that within a week to ten days these effects almost disappear. I suggest you start out with a lower dose that does not give you these symptoms, and gradually increase.  That usually works.
