Being pregnant and celexa withdrawal syptoms

by manda-lu, Jul 09, 2003 12:00AM
I have recently found out I am pregant (2months), and my OBGYN said that i should not take Celexa any longer. I stopped taking my prescription(40mg)completely,and i know i am having withdrawal syptoms now, such as vomiting, sweating, dizziness, abnormal dreams, and a constant feeling of light headedness.  I have been off Celexa for almost a full week now, but i was wondering if there is a definite time frame when most side effects do diminish? Or is there a time frame for the side effects mentioned above to stop occurring?  No one has been able to give a clear answer on this so far.  Thank you for your response.

It would have been better to taper off a little before stopping completely, but your symptoms should be diminishing right now and stopping within another week or ten days.
