Question Title: carotid doppler test and Aspirin

Forum: Neurology Forum
Topic: Neurology - General

Will taking one aspirin tablet a day have any affects
on my carotic doppler test.My test is sceduled
three weeks from today. This will be my first doppler test
and although I have been taking one aspirin a day for the past
week I wouldn't want to invalidate the results.

The asprin will have absolutely no effect whatsoever on the test,
you should only stop asprin if you are having a test which
involves breaking the skin , as it may cause prolonged bleeding.
