After suffering many years with a severe case of Restless Leg Syndrome I have had what seems like a miracle occur.I had been taking at least six 0.25 Permax tabs. a day --two at 3:ooPM ( when the symptons usually started)--two more at 6:00PM & two or more at midnight when I went to bed. I still spent hours every day & night in extreme discomfort. About two months ago I started taking two of the Permax at 8:00 AM--two more every four hours for a total of five tablets--the last one at midnight. The results were instant & dramatic. NO MORE ATTACKS!! I can not believe that for the first time in many years I am sympton free. I have been told ther is no medical reason why this should have happened. Any comments would be appreciated. = As I understand your posting you are taking more Permax at this point, and are spreading the dose throug the day in a more even fashion. This may be part of the explanation, keeping constant steady levels of the drug in your system, the other is that you may have hit a certain threshold of drug effect with a minor adjustment in dosage. You were already having a partial response so this is not an entirely unreasonable possibility. In any case I am glad it is working, I hope it continues.
