My daughter has been diagnosed with "severe" OCD. She is currently
living with us, and is being treated with a variety of drugs. The
latest - Prozac - seems to work somewhat, but previous (4 years)
experience - and dozens of drugs - indicate that this may very well
be a temporary (small) improvement.
She is unable to hold down a job (she is 25) and basically she exists
from day to day without any end or relief in sight.
As I see it, she has no life, and very little to look forward to.

I read about the Gamma Knife operation, and am wondering if this is
an option to at least find out about. I would like to know what the
process is to have somebody from Canada (Toronto) being looked at,
as well as an idea of the cost. Is there a Canadian institution that
provides a similar service? Can some of the work be done here?
