Not sure if this is right area but posted to General on Dec 8th with no response.

I am a 38 yo cau male who has the following problems/issues:
1. Low platelet count: Test 6 mo ago: 129,000 Test 3 mo ago: 116,000
Test 1 mo ago: 108,000 Took 4th test on 3 Jan/possible referral to
specialist No problems with bruising but do have blood in sinuses
regularly when I blow nose.
2. Abnormal globulin on all 3 tests above.
3. Constantly tired. Sometimes fall asleep during work/classes.
4. Shooting pain in neck (left side)for last few weeks.
5. Some mid abdominal pain for last few weeks.
6. Sleeping problems. Rarely get more than a couple hours without waking
up and wake up very easily when I do sleep. Sometimes with a start.
7. Shortness of breath upon little or no real exertion.
8. Loss of appetite yet have gained weight.

I know this is a lot and could indicate several issues (i.e. narcosis, depression, possible spleen problem) but I have not gotten any clear indication from my MD and I would just like some insights. I used to be a very active person, exercising regularly. I have lost my desire to exercise and just do things I normally enjoy. I guess I am a little concerned at this point and perhaps you can shed some light on these issues or put me in the right forum to help me get some answers.

Thanks for your questions. The symptoms described in your message do not
appear to have a neurological cause. In clinical scenarios like your case
where the multiplicity of symptoms do not point to a single organ system
the physical exam is even more important than usual, and unfortunately
that is not possible in this forum. I realize you mentioned the lack of
response from your primary physician, so perhaps you should consider a
second medical opinion/appointment with another General Practicioner.
