=Dear Lori, By the history you have provided me, I am unable to give you an explanation for the pain disorder you describe. It does not fit any of the known pain descriptions associated with the diseases of the peripheral nerves. Since this is becoming more of a problem, you may wish to discuss with your physician about evaluation by a neurologist or pain management specialist. In addition, you may wish to discuss additional treatment options such as the usage of Neurontin to see if you can obtain better pain control. Hope this helps.
