Question Title: Air Travel & Bell's Palsy

Forum: Neurology Forum
Topic: Bell's Palsy

Is there any reason (evidence or theory) to be concerned about
traveling via air after a Bell's Palsy onset? The planned travel
would be within 2-3 weeks of first paralysis symptoms.

My concern is due to the usual effects take-off/landing can have on one's ears.
Thank you.

Dear S. Alles,

There is no contraindication to flying after the onset of Bell's Palsy. Have a nice trip.
