Dear Marg:

I can not quite explain the problem with the vision that you describe
and in light of the fact that he has seen an ophthalmologist it may
be difficult to provide you with an answer to this particular question.
The back and leg problems might be due to the abnormal findings in the
MRI of the spine and for this he should see a neurosurgeon who specializes
in spinal disorders.
As for the headaches in the back of the head I did mention to you earlier
that certain spinal problems in the neck can result in severe headaches
and if they compromise blood flow, they might result with some visual loss
(although once again, the ophthalmologists are the experts in this area).
I tghink that your husband needs to be seen by a spine surgeon to find
out if there is any surgical intervention needed.

Good LUck
