Question Title: speech difficultyForum: Neurology Forum

Friends and family have noticed a slurring to my husbands speech over the past several months. It is not a consistent slurring, but occurs in general conversation. He, too has noticed it. I have talked to some people and they feel this may be cause for concern. He does not appear to have any difficulty with his hearing and the articulation difficulty is not sound specific. What could be causing this problem and should we pursue some testing? Thanks for any replies. ______ ______ Dear L, There are a number causes for new onset slurred speech in a patient.
