Question Title: hand fusion/debridement

Forum: Neurology Forum
Topic: Strain Injury

Hello. I'm a court reporter and I took the deposition of a hand surgeon/plastic surgeon.
During the testimony, this came up regarding the patient and I can't
seem to find it anywhere.

She was a woman who underwent a total wrist fusion and before the fusion she
underwent a diagnostic -- and I have ortostic (phonetic) -- obviously that's
not right, and I can't find it anyplace. She also had a debridement.

Any idea on what this word could be, diagnostic ortostic (phonetic)?????

I appreciate your time and help.

Have a great day.

Jill

Thanks for your question. Could it be "diagnostic arthroscopy"?
Arthoscopy, or insertion of a very small fiber optic viewing scope is
a routine examination procedure for articulations, particularly bigger ones
such as knees.
