I just wanted to thank you for responding so quickly and so accurately to my post from 9/24. We saw the neuromuscular expert today, and as you predicted, they will be performing a muscle biopsy and doing a second CSF analysis, EMG and complete blood work up in the hopes that they can find any other abnormality that would direct them away from a diagnosis of ALS

Unfortunately, the preliminary diagnosis is ALS syndrome and since his last round of tests (just one month ago) were normal, we are not very optimistic that it will be anything other than ALS. However, we are so grateful to you for your compassion in answering so quickly, your amazing accuracy in your advice and helping us a lot in knowing what to expect today and in the immediate future. Wish us luck.

Thank you again.

Carole F.
