Question Title: Back Pain, Bulging Disc, L4-L5Forum: Neurology Forum

A recent MRI by my neurosurgeon demonstrated spinal narrowing at the L4-5 level. This is from a combination of factors including a bulging disc at this level, enlargement of the joints on that side of the spine, as well as ligament enlargement. The neurosurgeon has recommended conservative treatment. A prescription for Feldene was given and avoidance of heavy lifting, repetitive twisting, bending, or stooping for seven weeks is necessary. I am extremely active and enjoy golf, jogging, in-line skating, working out, etc. I started the Feldene and elimination of all the above Oct 5th. Since that time the pain has increased and I'm miserable, being limited to walking only. Is there any excerise I can do to help?
