Primary lymphoma of the brain regarding a buzzing condition I recently developed. My right toe has what I call a buzzing sensation goin on every thirty to forty secondsor so. The "buzzing" last anywhere from 2 to 15 seconds. The intervals between buzzing episodes have been timed and fall anywhere from over a minute to less then one second. The area of the toe is the side toward the outward portion of the toe. I know it sounds silly to ask this question but please answser this question for me.
I recently had an EMG done last week. I had the EMG done for reasons concerning migratory twitching. It was clean and normal on my entire limb. He did test the entire limb but did not do the toe area . Could this buzzing be connected to the emg test or part of the fasiculations? If part of the latter could it be dernervation taking place? I am scared as this is never been felt before. The area affected is about the size of a nickel.
Thanks for your assistance.
digit ( ie toe or finger )the nerves branch to provide sensation to either side of the digit.
EMG is possible, but technically difficult with these small nerves but might prove the existance of a problem with this small sensory nerve.
The fact that the problem is so focal and is isolated to the territory of a tiny nerve branch is the factor which suggests that it is a local problem.
