Dear Cheryl Clawson:

Sorry for your situation.  I'm not sure I'm going to be of much help.  You will need your doctor (who has examined you and can confirm that you cannot heel-to-toe walk due to your essential tremor).  The real issue will be your alcohol level, and that is what will determine if you were DWI.  If your level is within the level of not being DWI, then your doctor's letter will help.  But, since I have never examined you, I can't do much.  Yes, essential tremors can involve the whole body, and compromise such activity as heel-to-toe walking, but this depends on how bad the tremor.  Since, I have not seen yours, I really can't comment.

Sorry,

Sincerely,

CCF Neuro MD
