hello, i am a 24 yr old very stressed mom i have achi;d who has many health problems in seceral areas. i have suffered from sever and cronic fatigue for the last 2 years and much of my teen life as well. i also have theses speells when i go into a daze and my vision looses focus but i am still aware of what is going on around me, at other times although less often i fill osmeshat nasus and then i have a shiver that affects the whole body the whole thing only last maybe 5sec. this concernes me my daughter has tonic clonic seizures ever 3-6mo. and are considered either idiopathic or breath holdind. also i have one mre symptom that botheres me i always fill a pressure are tigtness ar the base of mt neck and have a headache whenever i wake up this is almost daily and recentally i have been have a pulling stinging sincation in my lumbar sacrala rea the bonees there selves are not smooth filling to me should i be comcerned my daughter has partial sacral agenesis and 2 hemivertabrea along with a tether cord could any f those problems be due to a defect maybe i have and am just know starting to notice?

Dear Joanna Hanna:
I can understand your feelings. There are many factors that cause disorders of 2nd neurulation that your daughter expresses such as chromosomal, multifactoral genetic, medications, and certain genetic diseases. Since I can examine you, it is very difficult to tell you that you might have the same problem, but likely not. Your history would be more positive for symptoms that arise from 2nd neurulation problems. What your symptoms are from is also difficult to tell over the internet. I would suggest a good neurological exam and maybe some testing based on the findings of the exam. Your symptoms can be from a number of things, including what you mention (stress and much fatigue).
