Strage Head Sensation and Medication Combination

For the past 1.5-2 years, I have this strange sensation on the right side of my head. It is not painful, and it isn't a headache. It feels more like a pressing sensation. I feel the pressing in my right eye at times as well. Sometimes when i'm anxious, it pulsates. The pressing sensation is far worse at night, before going to bed. Realtively, I don't have many headaches. Nevertheless, this is really bothering me. I had an annual check-up a few weeks ago, and my doctor said my right eye, including the back of it, looked very good. I don't vomit in the morning, and have absolutely no headaches in the morning. However this pressing/numbness sensation is very bothersome. It seems to bother me a great deal more when I think about it. When I don't think about it, it doesn't bother me. What do you think this could be?
Also, I was recently put on Paxil to control my anxiety problem by a psychiatrist, in addition to the Tegretol that my neurologist already put me on to control my seizure problem. Is this a good combination? I am on 400mg of Tegretol twice a day, and 20mg of paxil once a day.

Not sure what it could be. An MRI would be very helpful in making sure there is no structural problem that is causing the symptoms. ALso, consider a formal ophtho or neuro-ophtho consult if it was just a primary care doc or optometrist who looked at your eye. Tegretol and Paxil should be ok together. GOod luck
I had a CT and an EEG which came back normal. Why, do you have any idea on what it could possibly be?

SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!!! It is the most irritating thing in the world. It's not exactly painful...but it is very distracting...and bothersome. I can't function properly when I have this feeling all over the right side of my head. Tingling, numb, pressing...sometimes shooting or stabbing very briefly. I just wish I knew what it was. Or that it would go away. At least I know I'm not the only one...
