has ur child ever been checked for tmj disorder? its a disorder with the temporomandibular joints of the jaw. a telltale sign is a clicking or popping sound when u move your jaw. i was diagnosed with this when i was about 16 or 17 but the symptoms i had were sharp pains in the head in the temple area and around my ears. u can check this by sticking ur fingers gently in her ears and ask her to open and close her mouth and u can actually feel the clicking of the jaw if it is tmj. just a thought.

She has been to several different oral surgens and they stated
she has Temporomandibular Joint Disorder. But they could not help her because she didn't need surgery.
The pain gets worse every time it starts up the Doctors have put her on pain pills and muscle relaxants and that does not help.
She has tried moist heat that helps some but it doesn't go away.
Does anyone have any suggestions or know of a Doctor that really knows about TMJ?
Thank you
