Good morning,
I am a 48 Year old woman with Arnold Chiari Malformation, Trigemianl Neurlgia, Hydromyelia, Acute Migraines, etc. I fractured my neck in a car accident 18 years ago and have had two fusion C/5-6 and 6/7 and also have had gamma knife surgery and been decompressed for ACM. My most recent MRI's for brain and spine show 1) hdromyelia has progressed slightly, but I understand that should not be surgical as you would damage the spine trying to correct it? 2)a small choroid plexus cyst within the right temporal horn. My symptoms are wide and varied. I have vertigo/vomiting/nausea/tingling fingers/feet/numbness burned my arm and didn't feel it etc limp sometimes It is alot to put into one note.
Should I worry about a cyst in my brain? Could it turn into a tumor? My migraines take depo medrol and dolophine to keep under control.

First of all, keep in mind that I am unable to diagnose you because I am unable to examine you, this forum is for educational purposes.
Choroid plexus cysts are an incidental finding (normal varient) in adults and do not cause learning problems, headaches, and are not associated with cancer.
The other symptoms you describe are complex and severe, and your neck injury, , previous neck surgies, ACM, and Migraines could all be playing a role. I would suggest that you get a EMG to determine if your symptoms are peripheral (nerves) or central (brain, spinal cord). I would also suggest a migraine prevantive medication (such as elavil, topamax, nadolol etc) to help take migraines out of the picture as much as possible. An MRI of the cervical spine and a SSEP (somatosensory evoked potential) would help determine the amount of spinal cord dysfunction.
