does this sound like myofacial pain?

by red starburst, Jan 03, 2006 12:00AM
For a year now Ive had a chronic frontal headache and mild dementia 24/7. Also shortness of breath while resting (air hunger).   Been through extensive testing.   Do you think that this could be myofacial problem?    I have had exposure to pink insulation from working in attics on a regular basis but no one thinks anything of that.   Please help, thanks,  (I am 35/male/causacian)

I have fibromyalgia and myofacial pain. I have had it for twenty five years and believe me if you have myofacial pain you would know it. Those couple of symptoms you explained are part of myofacial pain but there is alot more than just those symptoms. You have wide spread pain through out your whole body that will not allow you to do much or sleep much. When it rains the pain is so severe that you cannot move or think, then you have myofacial pain. Use any seach engine and type in Myofacial pain. There is all kinds of info and symptoms. If the doctors are not listening to you about breathing insulation scream louder or find another doctor. Over the past twenty five years I have had doctors call me stupid, did not know what I was talking about, all in my head, etc. etc. But I did find one that believes me and is trying to help. Remember the little birds in a nest the one that squaks the most gets the worm. Hope this helps.
