I did not check back here for a while due to an untimely modem crash. So I did not get your reply to my post untill now. My sitoation worsened slightly since. I do not have any legions or any visable marks on my penis. Before I goto the doctor, I would like to know exactly what kind of inspection and/or treatment to expect. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Unfortunately, I do not know your original question because you have posted this new follow up question separately. However, I’ll try to describe the physical examination you are inquiring about as it pertains to peyronie’s disease, since your follow up question in under that heading. The usual male genitalia exam which is a component of any urological evaluation consists of a visual examination of the penis, including visualization of the glans (head) and urethral meatus (tip) for any lesions and abnormalities. The shaft of the penis itself is palpated for any plaques that are felt like nodules, usually at the point where there is a curvature of the penis (part of peyronies disease). This is followed by a testicular examination by both visual inspection and palpation to find any skin lesions, masses, varicoceles, etc. Your urologist may also want to perform a rectal examination to check your prostate, although this is not the usual component of an exam for peyronie’s disease. I know this answer is very general and possibly not the answer to your question. However, it’s difficult to answer a follow up question, when the original question is unknown. Wish you the best.
