Question Title: Dry skin on the penis

Forum: The Urology Forum
Topic: Penile Cancer

For about five weeks, my penis has had dry, cracking skin on a small
area of it (about 1/2 inch x 1/2 inch). I have been monogamous for
about two years, and have never experienced this problem before, so
I don't believe it is an STD.

The skin is very dry, and cracks occasionally. It sometimes appears to
be healing, only to become irritated again if I masturbate, have sexual
intercourse, or sometimes for no apparent reason.

I have abstained from all sexual activity for about a week, and the
dryness seemed to be going away, but today it returned. I have
no idea why this could be.

I am 26 years old, and am worried it could be symptoms of penile
cancer. Any idea what it could be?

Dear SS,
Your symptoms are not likely to be that of a penile cancer. These are typified by skin ulcers and masses. I suggest that you follow up with your
personal physician.
