Question Title: Infection in the opening of my penis

I have had a infection in the opening of my penis that is not going away. I have had it for over two months. It is directly inside the opening and causes it to close up(the two sides stick together)in between urinating. If you press on the tip the skin is somewhat hard around the opening. There is also some yellowish discharge every so often and redness around the opening as well. It is tender, especially on each corner of the opening. After intercourse it gets even more sore and tender. I also get a stinging sensation around the release muscle when I begin to urinate.

I have already seen a doctor about this problem a month ago and he prescribed me some antibiotics. The first one I took for 7 days and it was supposed to be for urethra infections. The second one was also 7 days and it was for skin infections. So he had me take a total of two weeks worth of antibiotics. He also tested me for all STD's and each one turned up negative. I have had the same partner for almost five years now and she is not experiencing any problems.

You have been treated for infections of the urethral meatus, but have a persistence of symptoms. Meatal stenosis is a narrowing of the opening that can be secondary to infection or trauma. Redness and irritation of the skin of the glans penis can be caused by infection (yeast or bacteria) but may also be caused by other skin abnormalities including cancer.
We would suggest evaluation by a urologist because of the persistence of your symptoms. You may benefit from an outpatient surgery to enlarge the meatus (meatotomy) and biopsy of the glans and or meatus so that a pathologic diagnosis can be excluded.
