Can you tell me what relationship my hypothyroidism and incontinence have to each other?

Thanks for your question. You are trying to find out relationship between hypothyroidism and urinary incontinence. I would say that there is no real association between these two entities. Having said that, I would like to mention that there is one publication, which reported relationship between hypothyroidism and poor bladder contraction. Deficiency of thyroid hormones may relax the bladder muscles. However you should remember that this is reported only in one article and that too did nott mention any relationship between incontinence and thyroid hormone deficiency (Scand J Urol Nephrol 1988;22(4):351-3: Uremia as a complication to urinary retention due to hypothyreosis. Case report. Hansen MV, Engberg A).
