Posted by Ragen Mandell on May 21, 1999 at 22:57:26 Dear Doctor For the past four to five months, I have had trouble with urination. I am unable to urinate normally. I must force it out and lately there has been a lot of pain associated with it. There is no blood nor odor involved in urination. I have had an ultrasound done and have seen a Urologist. The ultrasound found a mass, which appeared to them to have been in the bladder or attached to it, which they felt may be blocking the urethra. However, upon seeing the Urologist and having a scope done, he concluded that there was nothing there. My concerns are, I am still unable to urinate normally and very rarely get it all out at one time or sitting. I often have the urge to go, but it never all comes out. It must be forced out and before urination begins, there is moderate to sometimes intensive pain. I am at my whits end. Please help. Also, I am a 32 year of female, who doesn't think this is very normal for someone my age. Could there be something seriously wrong with me? Signed Frustrated.
