I had a horrible accident with a vacuum erection device ending
in bending and temporary widespread numbness thoughout my groin
and legs.
First let me start from the beginning. I'm 23 years old with
cerebral palsy and I was diagnosed as organically impotent March
23. My penis needs direct stimulation in order to work and then
it subsides in seconds if there is no more stimulation. March
25 I used the VED and apparently pulled my scrotum up into the
device ending up with a grayish scrotum and a red/pink line
where the penile ring was. I had used it twice consecutively
for 15 minutes. There was also slight pain where the penile
ring was during use. 12 days afterwards numbness set in
originating from my right testicle up to the right side of my
penis and eventually spreading though out my groin, inner thighs,
buttocks, and right calf. Now there's desensitivity and
intermittent pain on the right side and it bends to the left. 1. My penis bends to the left at 2 focal points. This has
happened before but never to this degree. I'm hesitant to
bring this up to a docter in fear of that they might
aggrevate the condition though manipulation.
A. The first bend is at the very base. Could it be a tight
tendon?
B. The second bend is right before the most elastic skin of
the penis. I've heard of Peyronie's disease but there is no
fibrous feeling underneath. A few days after the accident I
attempted to masturbate but I quickly stopped due to a burning
sensation at the sides of the base of the penis.
This is also when I first noticed the most pronounced bend. The
left seems to have a tighter, constricted, stiffer feeling than
the right when erect. I've only had nocturnal and spontaneous
erections since then. Could this be anything else besides
Peyronie's disease? 2. Would 1200 mg of vitamin E aggravate the bend if this wasn't
Peyronie's disease? Would you prescibe anything else? 3. Is this delayed desensitivity normal?

I can understand your concern. Your problem does need to be evaluated by a urologist.
I am particularly concerned that you have sustained a penile fracture. This results form acute bending of an erect penis and involves rupture of some of the deep tissues of the penile shaft. Healing may result in permanent bending. I have not heard of this occurring from the vacuum erection device alone. Certainly you can get hematomas beneath the skin but these resolve on their own without the numbness and angulation that you describe.
Get it professionally evaluated.
