Question Title: Panic due to not masturbating

Forum: The Urology Forum
Topic: Sexual Dysfunction

Hi,
Thanks for the service.
I am a 28 year old Indian male, still single. For the last 10
years I am under the mental tension that I am not able to masturbate.
I have tried many times, but failed. Although I feel that my drive
for sex is not less. I get an arousal easily after seing a girl.
Is it that I will not be able to perform sex in my life. Again
I find that I have a tight foreskin. The doctor says it requires
to be circumcised. Should I see a urologist or any other doctor ?
Please advice.
Thanks.

Pathak.
Dear Pathak,

From the information you have provided, it is difficult to make a conclusion without evaluation you in a clinic setting. We need to know if you are able to achieve a spontaneous erection, or if you are unable to achieve a climax (orgasm and ejaculation). (What are you referring to when you say you are unable to masturbate?)
Most likely you will be able to have sexual relations, however, we need to identify the source of your problem. It takes both a mental and physical ability to achieve a successful climax. It is unclear from your brief statement the nature of your problem.
In regards to having a circumcision, there are several issues to be addressed.

curvature of your penis while erect, inhibiting sexual penetration?

Again, there is both a physical and mental component to achieving successful erection and ejaculation. To evaluate you properly, a consultation with a Urologist is warranted.

This information is provided for general medical education purposes only. Please consult your physician for diagnostic and treatment options pertaining to your specific medical condition.
Sincerely yours;
HFHS M.D.-AK
