Hi

Ok I am waiting to go to the urology dept  from a referral from my doc He thinks I have prostities ie burning after urination pain between my scrotum and anus Urgency in bladder ect only had a two weeks of doxycyline.

The thing is I have a couple of weeks to wait and something new as started to happen

When I urinate first thing in the morning (not all the time) I get a white fluid come out first the urine,Did it once then nothing for a week then 2 more times the last time I got a sample of it.

It is white and settles to the bottom of the jar if you shake it it will settle to the bottom again. Looks a bit like sperm but not the same.

Any help with is please it a bit worrying never had any problems or infections before I am 40 year .

Difficult to say without seeing the fluid in question.

Infections like prostatitis or various STDs can be considered.  A urine test can evaluate for UTIs as well as STDs like gonorrhea or chlamydia.

A digital rectal exam as well as an transrectal ultrasound can fully evaluate the prostate for any infection.  Any prostatic fluid can be sent off for analysis and culture.

You can discuss these options with your personal physician or urologist.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
