If your an addict then you should know there's no such thing as tappering off, and this would have been a recipe for disaster if I would  have tried this way to quit using drugs. Maybe even deadly! I just feel as a recovering addict that one should go som

somewhere like a Treatment center where there's help from people and staff that know's what to do for people like us. The hardest step is the first step. Yes, NA works if you work it, that's the key "work it"

What worked for you doesn't work for everyone. Many people on this site have successfully tapered. We have to take time and not inventory others.

not all people can go to treatment centers. they may lose their job, or dont have insurance/money to do it. or want a bunch of debt over it.


I had to do it myself, and so have many others.  I think a taper is the way to go, especially with methadone
