I have done most of the things listed here I dont suffer from panic now I put it down to doing the things or a lot of them listed here,,they do work, they become a habit, anyone who suffers GAD and Panic trust me they are worth trying..I dont have either
I am 58 and suffer from panic disorders. So you have found someone a bit older than you. My panic attacks last for hours on end. Always trying to catch my breath.
Regular meditation very helpful. If have REGULAR training in noticing your own thoughts as things separate from reality you will be better able to do 10 steps even when the panic hits. Regular tai qi, and repeating simple tai qi movements (such as slowly
bringing hands together in front of chest, then out, then back in, concentrating on the increase in tingling as get closer) when panicked helpful. Stocking pantry full of trained reactions in event of panic hurricane.
