Just had my yearly mri and the changes from 2008 are noted as interval development of new area of abnormal signal on T2 and FLAIR images with abnormal enhancement after administration of gadolinium next to the right lateral ventricle within the parietal lobe.  This area also shows abnormal enhancement on the post-contrast images.  Compared to prior exam dated 7/13/08, there is interval development of new multiple sclerosis plaque within the right parietal lobe next to the right lateral ventricle with abnormal enhancement after administration of gadolinium.

About the only thing that I fully understand is that the dye injected is the administration of gadolinium.  What does all the rest of it really mean to me, the patient??
